Overview
Availability Window: Sun 12:00:00–18:00, Mon–Sat 09:00:00–21:00.
Pay starts from £12.87 per hour and increases to £14.08 per hour for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; there are also opportunities to work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Working environment: fast-paced pharmacy setting with a focus on delivering high-quality service and patient care. You will have opportunities to support customers with new medicines, vaccinations, medicine reviews, and health checks (e.g., blood pressure, blood glucose). You will be supported by experienced Pharmacists and managers, with local management and leadership input in the store you are based in.
Responsibilities
- Support the operation of one of our modern Pharmacies.
- Apply technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication.
- Dispense prescription medicines with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Interact with customers in a confident, friendly, and professional manner to provide excellent service.
- Provide information to customers on common ailments, symptoms and products.
- Understand customer needs and explain product benefits; promote appropriate products.
- Advise customers on the range of Pharmacy services available.
- Support and deliver Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assess the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions and respond to inquiries from Healthcare practitioners within area of competence.
- Address customer queries related to prescription medicines and inform the Pharmacist of any complaints.
- Ensure all dispensary routines and SOPs are followed; maintain a clean and orderly dispensary and consulting rooms.
- Ensure all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time.
- Contribute to promotional activities and company initiatives within the team.
- Follow procedures to protect profit and ensure safe and legal trading.
- Complete corporate and departmental training and stay up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.

Gained from working in a Pharmacy environment. A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
