As a Maintenance Technician at Tesco across Gravesend, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores remain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike. You will be part of a skilled team responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment, helping to keep our operations running smoothly. Your work will directly impact the shopping experience of thousands of customers every day. Responsibilities
- Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
- Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
- General day to day store and property maintenance.
- Using mobile devices (phone and tablet) to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
- Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values, maintaining a positive attitude and taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
- Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
- Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Interacting with external contractors to coordinate repairs and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborating with the team to maintain equipment and facilities and minimise customer disruption.
