The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
In this role, you will work within Business Support to manage and align key workstreams with our Commercial teams, helping us serve customers, communities, and the planet a little better every day. You will take an agile approach, working across different areas of Business Support operations to ensure plans are aligned with our Service Delivery Model and strategic goals. You will partner with stakeholders across Tesco and externally to deliver objectives, manage dependencies, and drive measurable improvements. With a solid understanding of shrink (unknown loss), you will take ownership of workstreams, embedding effective processes and quickly resolving issues with smart solutions. Your ability to inspire, engage, and lead others will ensure customers and colleagues feel valued. You will play a key role in identifying ways to reduce unknown loss through commercial collaboration, while creating efficiencies that make a real difference. Responsibilities
- Identifying opportunities to improve unknown loss through operational knowledge, data-driven insights, and your own findings.
- Working closely with Commercial teams to implement ranging processes that reduce losses and improve overall business profitability.
- Owning the communication and engagement plan with Commercial teams, providing clear, concise updates and data-led recommendations.
- Owning the source tagging process, including making recommendations and ensuring compliance through audits.
- Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to ensure loss prevention is considered within key categories.
- Collaborating with third parties, including brands and suppliers, to find solutions for high-loss areas.
- Leading trials in partnership with Commercial teams, including retail-facing engagement and briefings.
- Working with the Commercial Shrink Analyst to identify the biggest opportunity areas and priority categories.
- Ensuring that the communication blueprint is adhered to at all times within my workstreams.
- Supporting your manager and the wider shrinkage and Security leadership team by creating materials and resources that drive shrink reduction in line with long-term and annual plans.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships to identify and deliver improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- A solid understanding of commercial processes and key performance indicators, with the ability to apply this knowledge to improve profitability.
- Awareness of Shrink and how to reduce unknown losses without impacting sales.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting both online and in person to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in project management or a willingness to develop these skills, including planning, organising, and prioritising workload effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders, brands, suppliers, and category teams to deliver solutions and implement shrink reduction strategies.
- Confidence in deploying projects and trials, including retail-facing engagement and briefings, to drive measurable improvements.
