Example projects: designing and developing new ordering algorithms to balance customer availability with food waste and other costs, modelling our supply chain to better understand the impact of different actions; optimising how our stores are laid out and merchandised to deliver the best shopping trip for our customersData ScienceUsing the latest machine learning and data science techniques to understand and model customer behaviour. Example projects: predicting customer demand, including the response to promotions, events, and weather; optimisation of our price reductions on expiring food to minimise wasteLeading ChangeBuilding engagement for our work in the wider business, influencing partners across different functions to deliver real change.
