About the role
The Security Engagement & Culture team is one of the most visible teams within Security at Tesco. We’re responsible for ensuring the support of all colleagues to be our strongest security link within Head Office, Stores, Distribution Centres & Customer Fulfilment Centres globally; spanning circa 450,000 colleagues. While specific responsibilities of our Security Engagement Partner will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business.
This role will best suit an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, confident in local and remote stakeholder management, is well organized, pragmatic and a lateral problem solver with an inquisitive mind. Motivation to make change for the better and, most meaningfully, putting our colleagues and customers first, is key!
You will be responsible for
Specific responsibilities of our Security Engagement Partner will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures:
- Take ownership of the current cyber champions programme and be instrumental in progressing it to the next stages of maturity across all of the Tesco Group.
- Take a proactive lead on colleague recruitment and developing the cyber champions’ network.
- Creating micro champion communities to discuss successes and challenges.
- Working 121 with champions to support the upskilling of security knowledge to change ways of working within their teams and running culture sprints to adopt changes in behaviour.
- Relaying new changes to champions and working together to understand and communicate these changes to their peers.
- Where champion behaviours can be tracked and measured, showcasing development, and recognising success.
- Reporting on the impact champion initiatives have on risk reduction.
- Launching local learning initiatives, webinars, face to face workshops & drop-in centres for champions when relevant.
- Obtaining feedback from champions during eLearning development and proof of concepts.
You will need
Be able to demonstrate experience and ability:
- To design & roll-out a strategy/roadmap with the objective of building a mature and robust cyber champions’ programme within a global organisation.
- Working in a security environment or a proven ability to learn security fundamentals.
- Able to articulate sophisticated concepts to a very diverse audience.
- Attitude and ability to learn new product areas/domains quickly.
- To confidently organise and host events or delivering training.
