It’s an exciting time in our business and we’re recruiting a Senior Analyst to join our growing Engineering team within our Technology department. Bring your talent, expertise, and skills to make a difference for our customers, communities, and planet.

The Role

  • As a Senior Analyst you’ll gather data requirements, identify areas of opportunity, and utilise a variety of methods to develop and interpret information to assist decision‑making on complex changes.
  • You’ll design, document, analyse, and support troubleshooting to facilitate product development, and contribute to consistent standards across the analyst team.
  • Deliver actionable analysis and insights to support product, engineering, and operational decisions.
  • Translate complex or ambiguous business problems into clear analytical questions and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead exploratory analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monitor performance trends and drive continuous improvement through deep‑dive analysis.
  • Map end‑to‑end processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Create executive‑ready reporting with clear narrative and recommendations.
  • Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and senior stakeholders to shape priorities using evidence.
  • Ensure data integrity through validation, documentation, and quality checks.
  • Support the development of tools, standards, and templates for the wider team.

Qualifications

We need you to have (min experience):

  • Experience in an analyst role in Technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain insights with technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to collect business requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to create efficient solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience of a technical leadership role in a medium to large enterprise organisation.
  • Skilled people management and leadership capability with excellent judgement and latitude in decision‑making.
