Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh office 1-3 days per week for this position. Some ad hoc travel to London may be required. Applications close at 5pm on 28th May 2025.

Tesco Travel Money is the second largest provider in the market with over 350 bureau and an additional 280 collection points across the UK. Convenience, exclusive Clubcard pricing and fantastic customer service are key reasons why our customers keep coming back. We sell and buy back over 50 currencies in cash, as well as a prepaid card option with the ability to load up to 10 currencies.
We have a small, dedicated team and work closely with our 3rd party provider Travelex to staff and support our instore bureau. People are at the heart of what we do and a large part of our success. We’re looking for a Travel Money Commercial Manager to join our Money Services team. We believe in nurturing talent and providing opportunities for growth and development. As a Commercial Manager in Travel Money, you will have the chance to enhance your skills, take on new challenges, and progress in your career.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- You’ll manage relationships with our Head of Retail, Divisional Managers and bureau staff across the Tesco Travel Money estate.
- You’ll run monthly customer forums to actively review NPS and share best practice; helping communicate overall strategy to our frontline colleagues.
- You’ll consistently monitor complaints data to ensure customer feedback drives improvement across our network.
- You’ll be responsible for the planning and execution of our annual awards event; celebrating success with the best colleagues across the business.
- You’ll work closely with colleagues across the whole of the Insurance & Money Services as well as 3rd parties including Travelex and MPMS.
We need you to have:
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills to interact with key stakeholders (both internal and 3rd party).
- A customer orientated mindset to ensure we consistently hold them at the heart of what we do.
- Strong commercial acumen and operational understanding.
- Experience with complaints handling to support colleague discussions and strive for the best possible customer experience in-store.
