- Experience of product governance, either as a product owner or in an oversight capacity, ideally in an insurance environment.
- Insurance regulatory and compliance knowledge including the design and implementation of frameworks, policies and processes.
- Strong knowledge and demonstrable evidence of applying the principles of the Consumer Duty including assessment of fair value and customer outcomes.
- Experience of designing and implementing product approval and review processes.
- Ability to act as business partner across multiple teams providing SME guidance and support to 1st line teams.
- Ability to demonstrate a pragmatic approach to risk management which protects the business, whilst supporting the delivery of broader business objectives.
- Ability to provide technical support in a way which can be easily understood and acted upon by colleagues.
