Manage all the financial aspects of the CCEC, including budget setting, business case valuations, and day-to-day financial routines.
- Work with all Finance teams that the Customer Engagement Centre handles work for to ensure that they have accounted for the Customer Engagement Centre costs.
- Develop reasons for all new work or trials introduced to the Customer Engagement Centre so all costs are fully understood.
- Ensure any capital investment is submitted and approved by the Capital Approvals Group with all benefits and costs documented.
- Adhere to all Corporate and legal processes and ensure timely completion.
- Track actual spend vs. budget and seek opportunities to save, identify potential overspends, and opportunities/requirements to invest.
- Contribute to the overall strategy and tactical plans of the Customer Engagement Centre operations.
- Ensure the Customer Engagement Centre has sufficient budget at the start of the year to service Customers and deliver change plans.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder understanding of the Customer Engagement Centre\βs role and contribution to Tesco, facilitating appropriate financial decisions throughout the year.
