As a Software Engineering Manager, you'll guide a collaborative team building reliable, modern software solutions. You'll help shape our technical direction, mentor engineers, and make thoughtful use of AI tools to improve how we work. You will be responsible for
- Team & People Leadership
- Lead a collaborative, and high‑performing engineering team.
- Support engineers in their growth with regular coaching, clear goals, and constructive feedback.
- Foster an inclusive environment where every voice is heard and valued.
- You will be hiring, onboarding, and building a diverse team.
- Delivery & Technical Leadership
- Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of software built with Java, Spring Boot, Typescript, and related technologies.
- Work with Product and Architecture teams to design simple, scalable solutions.
- Promote modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, clean code, and cloud‑native patterns.
- Ensure systems are reliable, well‑tested, and easy to maintain.
- AI‑Enabled Engineering
- Champion AI tools that boost productivity.
- Help the team learn how to use AI safely, responsibly, and confidently.
- Identify areas where automation or AI can reduce manual work or improve user experience.
You will need Technical Skills
- Experience delivering Java 8+ or JVM‑based applications using Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, or Kotlin.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Knowledge of software design and architectural patterns.
- Comfortable with DevOps practices (CI/CD, configuration management, deployment patterns).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native development.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum.
- Interest in using AI to improve engineering workflows and team efficiency.
