We\βre looking for a Supplier Manager to join our Banking team at Tesco Bank.
You\βll ensure a full understanding of the services provided to your allocated business area by strategic suppliers, engaging relevant internal stakeholders and reporting on performance, service, and risk exposures.
What you\βll be doing
- Managing key internal client and customer relationships to ensure business and supplier objectives remain aligned, within rules of business conduct, including review meetings.
- Identifying trends, summarising findings, and providing feedback on existing contract performance to inform negotiations and renegotiations.
- Delivering outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with service providers, following a contract management plan aligned with regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Collaborating with Procurement & Legal teams to review, maintain, and renegotiate legal contracts.
- Ensuring business activities comply with external regulations and internal policies.
- Identifying and evaluating risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, escalating as needed.
- Planning and executing stakeholder engagement activities to build effective relationships and address stakeholder needs and concerns.
We need you to have
- Experience managing suppliers in a regulated or controlled environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations related to outsourcing and suppliers.
- Risk, Conduct, and Compliance Management experience.
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills at all levels.
- Understanding of supplier commercial contracts.
