A chance to thrive: We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our Save & Pay Value Stream at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc. This is an exciting opportunity to support our Save & Pay products by delivering analytical requirements to help make things better for customers while supporting growth of our savings products. Working with a range of stakeholders you’ll be involved in a range of varied activities and a high level of self-motivation and focus would be needed. You’ll be expected to be able to work independently as well as engaging with a range of stakeholders inside and outside of the Value Stream, reporting into the Senior Customer Value Manager for Customer Management. This isn’t a pure data analysis role, it bridges the gap between data and commercial requirements to support our business objectives. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast moving and evolving environment working in an agile way, broadening your knowledge of the Save & Pay products and industry as you do.

What you’ll be doing

• You’ll be carrying out analysis and collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to:
• Support business initiatives by leading on analysis of data to support business cases
• Independently identify opportunities to make things better for the business and customers through data analysis
• Run risk controls, investigating poor customer outcomes where appropriate
• Provide ad hoc and regular reporting to the Value Stream stakeholders
• Support delivery of key projects as part of NWT’s and project teams

What we need you to have

• Experience of using SAS
• Good knowledge of a range of data analysis tools and software
• Strong presentation and paper-writing skills
• An inquisitive mind – be self-driven to identify opportunities

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of banking products, particularly savings
• Experience working with Power BI
