We’re looking for a Digital IT Analyst to join our Save and Pay team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc. You’ll design and deliver new digital application and servicing journeys for our Savings customers in a collaborative Agile environment.
Role
As part of a cross-functional delivery team you’ll operate within an Agile framework using SAFe, working in DevOps scrum teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with product, architecture and engineering teams to ensure Savings features are accurately understood, refined, and implemented.
- Lead discovery activities and define the scope of new work, producing clear, high quality user stories and acceptance criteria for customer-facing digital features.
- Review technical designs, process flows and system impacts to ensure they are fully understood and documented.
- Assess upstream and downstream system impacts and work closely with architects and engineers to validate technical feasibility and shape robust end-to-end solutions.
- Support delivery teams through test case definition, clarification, and implementation activities.
- Act as custodian of Savings-related requirements, performing root cause analysis and coordinating resolutions with technical teams.
- Ensure delivered features align with internal policies, strategic objectives, and relevant external regulations.
We need you to have:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst, ideally working on delivery of digital, customer facing features, with detailed analysis and high quality user stories in an Agile environment.
- Technical curiosity, able to assess feasibility and work with architects and engineers to refine solutions.
- Proven experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across product, engineering and operations, with clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience partnering with engineers to interpret system interactions, validate feasibility and shape solution approaches.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail, breaking down ambiguous or complex problems into clear structured analysis outputs.
- A blend of business analysis discipline and technical understanding across digital journeys and system integrations.
And if you have any of these, even better:
- Experience delivering system changes within an Agile environment, collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Experience in digitising Savings application and decisioning journeys and/or ISA Transfer knowledge.
- Experience coaching or mentoring other analysts or contributing to the development of team capability.
What’s in it for you:
- Plan confidently for the future with our non-contributory colleague pension scheme.
- Access Private Medical Insurance, including GP service.
- Enjoy a discretionary annual incentive.
- Take time to rest and recharge with 25 days’ holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
- Make the most of our family-friendly benefits, including enhanced maternity pay, shared parental leave and paid paternity leave.
- Grow your skills with our ongoing learning and development opportunities.
- Choose from a range of flexible benefits so you can tailor a package that works best for you.
