Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager – Converting (UK)

Responsibilities
- Own key relationships, shape account strategies, and convert opportunities across multiple value chains.
- Develop & execute account strategies, build mid‑term Key Account plans, align tactics with regional business/marketing strategies and drive profitable growth while protecting margin.
- Establish, build, and leverage multi‑level relationships across customers; engage decision makers and influencers, and ensure local implementation of regional initiatives.
- Target defined customer groups, create and qualify leads, manage a high‑quality project pipeline, specify tesa products for various applications, and close opportunities.
- Maintain complete, accurate CRM records, forecast reliably and support decision making.
- Coordinate with internal experts and partners for early‑stage projects and training to accelerate adoption.

Requirements
- Experience in adhesives or industrial tapes (product/solution selling).
- Knowledge of tape converting processes (slitting, die‑cutting, lamination, release liner selection, application troubleshooting) and the converter value chain.
- Demonstrable success selling to tape converters / tape specialists in industrial markets.
- Technical aptitude to collaborate with R&D/application engineers on specifications, qualifications, and early‑stage projects.
- Structured account planning and pipeline discipline.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Comfortable managing pricing and margin.
- Team player who collaborates cross‑functionally.
- Flexible and resilient.
- Highly organized and methodical.
- Proficient with CRM for opportunity management and forecasting.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK with occasional trips in Europe.
