TES is seeking applications from existing P-Way employees for the position of Track Operative in the Anglia region. This role will support the delivery of maintenance, renewal and project works across the region, with safety at the forefront of all activities. About You
We are seeking Track Operatives to support the delivery of maintenance, renewals and project works across our rail infrastructure activities. Reporting to the P-Way Manager, the successful candidates will work as part of a team to carry out track-related duties in a safe and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and renewals tasks as instructed.
- Comply with all safety, quality and operational requirements.
- Ensure the correct PPE is worn and maintained at all times.
- Use tools, equipment and materials safely and correctly.
- Attend team briefings, training courses and safety briefings as required.
- Contribute to safety reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the development of new starters where required.
- Maintain high standards of attendance, punctuality and professionalism.
Essential Requirements
- PTS AC/DCCR.
- Track Induction (TIC).
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good timekeeping and attendance record.
Desirable
- Small Tools competency.
- Knowledge of rail plant and equipment.
- First Aid, Manual Handling and Fire Training.
