We’re Hiring: Reporter

Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days a week, 2 days from home)

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Salary: up to £32,000

We’re now looking for a news reporter to join our award-winning team.

✍️ The Role

We’re seeking an ambitious news journalist who\’s passionate about public policy and/or education , and has a portfolio of hard-hitting scoops .

You might be:

  • A regional journalist with a strong track record looking to step up to a national patch
  • A general reporter ready to specialise and produce agenda-setting investigations

In this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exclusives across regional and national beats
  • Hone contacts, scrutinise data, and ask probing questions
  • Work towards appearing in wider media to discuss key education stories
  • Write news stories, long-reads, and investigations
  • (Note: this role is not suited to candidates looking to focus on features.)
