Technical Engineering Support (TES) is an engineering firm established over 30 years ago, specializing in test coordination and industrial commissioning. TES also assists its clients with their participation in design studies and the coordination of industrial equipment assembly.

As part of our activities, we have a position available for a Construction manager piping (m/f) on the Hinkley-Point EPR project in the UK.

Your role will be:

  • To second the Overall Construction Manager for the designated scope.
  • To second the contract manager for the designated scope.
  • Owning and delivering the piping scope as per strategy.
  • Managing the piping team and sub-contractor.
  • Implementing company rules at site.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of the activity.
  • Implement LEAN tools.
  • Lean management, reporting and REX on execution.

Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree (or Equivalent)
  • Relevant Professional Accreditation (PM, Construction, Engineering)

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience of coordinating a team in a construction environment
  • Proven track record in nuclear power preferred
  • Experience working on major construction projects
  • Experienced in delivering and operating at an Engineer or Senior Engineer level, including experience working within Joint Ventures
