Technical Engineering Support (TES) is an engineering company created over 30 years ago, specializing in the coordination of tests and industrial commissioning. TES also supports its customers in participating in studies and coordinating the assembly of industrial equipment.
The Records Technician role is to capture, compile and submit discipline type LTQR deliverables for the assigned Area, in line with the scope of works, as per Area LTQR Co-ordinators & Discipline Records Leads Guidance & instructions.
Accountabilities- Ensure site based LTQR management activities are carried out in accordance with approved processes and procedures.
- Compile, review and submit scope LTQR deliverables, ensure compliance to requirements.
- Manage distribution of both electronic and hard copy documents.
- End to End configuration control.
- Prepare data reports when required on document status for LTQR Manager.
- Assist with production of LTQR handover packs.
- Assist Area LTQR Co-Ordinator’s to ensure appropriate LTQR’s are submitted for work packages as required by contract.
- Review LTQR’s for accuracy and adequacy of content to allow the compilation of lifetime records to support End of Erection Status Reports.
- LTQRs are one of the principal forms of objective evidence for quality assurance and conformance inspection and testing.
- Excellent IT skills and experience in applying electronic, document management system (EDMS) and associated metadata schemas.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience on EDMS automation system and control of LTQR records.
- Proven experience of interaction and resolving issues with a wide range of stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
- Experience working in a quality assurance/control environment within the nuclear industry or other relevant safety critical industry.
- Qualifications in an Engineering discipline.
- ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience) beneficial but not mandatory.
- Working in Alliance agreement projects.
- Major Project Experience.
