As we continue to grow, TES is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to join our expanding Ballykelly team.
Job Title:  Electrical Test Technician
Location:  Ballykelly
Contract Type:  Full Time / Permanent
Working Hours:  40hrs / week – Negotiable
Salary:  Competitive, Negotiable depending on experience
Role Summary 
In the role of the Electrical Test Technician, you will play a critical part in all aspects of Electrical Panel Testing & Fault Finding in supporting the busy production demands within a switchgear manufacturing environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- All aspects of Electrical Panel Testing & Fault Finding
 - Primary & Secondary Injection Testing
 - Flash Testing
 - Accurate and Detailed completion of Test Booklets
 - Client Factory Acceptance Tests / Site Acceptance Tests
 
The Person:
- Minimum of 1-year relevant experience.
 - Understanding of Electrical Drawings/Control Systems
 - Experience In SWG Panel Building Job Description
 - Working exposure to Electrical Panel Testing
 - Ability to read detailed electrical drawings and cable schedules.
 - Competency to fault find/diagnose issues on installations while testing
 
Preferred Skills:
- Electrical Engineering Background
 - Electrical Trade Background and/or a Third Level qualification
 - Testing & Verification Course Completed
 - Technical Knowledge and experience of Low Voltage systems and regulatory requirements including International Standards
 - Knowledge of PLC Software
 - HND/HNC or equivalent qualification
 - Time served as an Electrician
IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
Experience of carrying out fixed wire testing on various installations
