TES are an award-winning environmental engineering company specialising in Water Treatment and Power Distribution solutions. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to be the first point of contact for our organisation. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth operation of front office functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct visitors professionally, maintaining the visitor logbook and issuing badges as required.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-presented reception area at all times.
- Provide basic and accurate information to clients and staff.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
- Support finance administration tasks as needed, and any additional administrative duties as required by management.
- Monitor and manage office supply inventory, placing orders to replenish stock when necessary.
- Maintain and update calendars, as well as coordinate and schedule meetings.
- Keep accurate records of office-related expenses and costs.
- Perform general clerical duties including filing and photocopying.
- Ensure refreshments are prepared and available for client meetings.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be proactive and resourceful when solving problems.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
- A professional and friendly customer service approach.
