Role overview: We are in the middle of a major organisational transformation. It’s a bit chaotic, processes are still being defined, and the “right way” to do things is often something you’ll have to help us figure out.

The Mission: Your goal is to turn complex user insights into simple, accessible products while simultaneously helping us stabilise our design function. You will be accountable for the entire design lifecycle in a specific product area and may sometimes need to move into different business areas as required. You’ll also be a key player in our Design Operations (DesignOps), helping us move from “organised chaos” to a high-performing design engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Navigating Discovery & Design
    • Continuous Discovery: Drive the design process using a “Dual-Track Agile” approach.
    • Lean Experimentation: Deconstruct large ideas into lean experiments.
  • Design Ops
    • Bringing Order to Chaos: Partner with Senior UX Designers and Design Leadership to refine the “manual.”
    • Design System Stewardship: Contribute to and help govern our Design System.
    • Facilitating Clarity: Lead workshops and FigJam sessions to get stakeholders on the same page.
    • Leading Ceremonies: Support and lead design-specific syncs like Design Critiques.
    • Cross Functional Product Teams: Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers.
    • Measuring What Matters: Help us define and track UX metrics.

What kind of person will succeed in this role?

  • Super Adaptable: You can pivot when business needs shift.
  • A Self‑Starter: You proactively identify what needs to move forward.
  • An Expert with the Tools: Mastery of Figma and research tools.
  • A Pragmatic Problem Solver: Know when to deliver a “good enough” solution.
  • Comfortable with Dynamic processes: Experience in a SaaS environment or transformation.
  • Systems Thinker: Understand how changes affect the entire ecosystem.

What do you get in return?

  • 25 days annual leave rising to 30
  • State of the art offices
  • Access to a range of benefits via My Benefits World
  • Free eye care cover
  • Life Assurance
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • EAP (Employee assistance programme)
  • Quarterly Socials
  • Access to an extensive Learning and Development menu
