Overview
Teaching Assistant Level 3 – Apprenticeship. 37.5 hours per week with 6.5 hours of apprenticeship learning included. Stockport Academy is an 11-16 school, part of the United Learning Trust. United Learning is one of the largest education trusts across the UK, supporting over 40,000 children in their schools. Responsibilities
- Assist in creating effective learning environments and support pupils with a diverse range of needs.
- Learn and apply strategies and techniques to support child development.
- Assist with classroom activities and supervision as needed to support teaching and learning.
The Successful Candidate Will
- be 16 years or older and not in full-time education
- Have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 years
- have achieved Level 2 in English and maths
- good organisation skills and be willing to learn
- excellent communication skills - the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
- able to use discretion with sensitive information and maintain full confidentiality
- You will not be eligible for this programme if you already hold a Level 3 or higher qualification in a similar subject area
