Overview
Job Overview: Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 3.45pm, and Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm (36 hours per week). This role is term time, plus 5 additional days during closure periods. Actual Salary: £20,214 to £20,897. Copley Academy is a GOOD school (Ofsted, June 2024). Our latest Ofsted report describes that we are \’ambitious for pupils to succeed\’ and that leaders are \’considerate of staff workload and wellbeing\’. Most importantly, the report also says that students are \’proud to be part of this friendly school community\’.
An opportunity has arisen to join the team as Teaching Assistant Level 2 at Copley Academy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of key staff to undertake work, care and support programmes, to enable access to learning for students. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area under the guidance of key staff. This could include one-to-one and small group interventions with vulnerable students, those with SEND needs and students who require behaviour intervention to access learning.
