Job Overview
Are you an experienced and organised administrator with strong interpersonal and communication skills developed through customer facing roles? Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast moving and evolving position where you’ll have the opportunity for a varied role in a supportive and inspiring environment. If so, we invite you to become a part of our vibrant new SEN school, nestled in the breathtaking Surrey Hills
You will be responsible for
  • Managing the reception, welcoming visitors, answering phones calls and emails and offering information and support
  • Maintaining and updating the school’s MIS (we use Arbor and training will be given) taking primary responsibility for pupil data
  • Ensuring that registers are completed and any absences followed up
  • Providing administration support including preparing newsletters, reports, meetings, events and daily school functions (we\'re a Google Workspace school)
  • Working with the Estates Manager to ensure that first aid, medical and fire procedures and provisions are kept updated
  • Providing first aid support to pupils, staff and visitors (training will be provided)
  • Managing school supplies and resources, including stationery
  • Organising school events and supporting the planning of special events.
All staff play a key role in nurturing the wellbeing and personal development of our pupils, supporting their social and emotional growth and embodying the school’s values and ethos each day. While experience of working in a school or supporting learners with autism would be advantageous, it is not essential. Full induction and ongoing training are provided as part of our commitment to professional excellence.
