Job title: Primary Teacher

Location: Hambrook School, Burgess Hill, West Sussex

Salary: Up to ÂŁ42,000.00 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Primary Teacher to join our close-knit team at Hambrook School, part of the Options Autism family.

About The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will take a creative and personalised approach to teaching pupils with varied and complex needs. You will deliver the KS1 and KS2 curricula in ways that maximise pupil achievement and support their development.

This role offers an exciting chance to spend less time on paperwork and more time creating inspiring learning opportunities. You’ll work in a supportive environment with a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decisions about their learning and wellbeing.

We pride ourselves on the high quality of education we provide, and we’re looking for a confident and motivated Primary Teacher who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable pupils in the UK to be happy and successful.

While experience working in an SEN or ASC environment is desirable, excellent teaching skills, resilience, and the right personal qualities are equally important.

About Us

Hambrook School is in Burgess Hill West Sussex. We opened in September 2023 and secured an Ofsted ‘Good’ rating in just 7 short months!

We help pupils excel by providing a structured, nurturing approach, alongside a broad, balanced, engaging and extraordinarily rich curriculum.

All our pupils have a diagnosis of Autism and an EHCP. We have been inundated with requests of places from Sussex and Surrey Local Authorities and therefore need additional staff to impact the lives of more pupils. We are therefore looking for the perfect person to join us for this next stage of our journey.

We offer bespoke personalised care that allows each pupil\’s needs to be addressed and their capabilities fully realised. We offer our pupils a flexible, safe and nurturing environment for them to develop and grow.

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.
