Role Summary

This position is within one of Inspired\\\’s established International Schools in Italy. The school is a vibrant IB World School with modern facilities including a central library, drama and music studios, and spacious collaborative learning areas.

The Role

  • Teach IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) English Language & Literature and support the IB Diploma Programme (DP) English curriculum.
  • Foster students’ critical thinking, communication and literary analysis skills.
  • Collaborate on curriculum design and interdisciplinary projects.
  • Provide additional support for students whose first language is not English.

Essential

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • EU citizenship or legal right to live and work in Italy.
  • Degree in English, Literature, or a related field and recognised teaching qualification.
  • Minimum two years’ teaching experience with strong results.
  • Familiarity with or experience of IB MYP/DP English. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a diverse, multilingual environment

Preferred

  • Background in international or multicultural education.
  • Experience teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL).
