We are seeking a compassionate and visionary HM to lead one of our vibrant boarding houses. The HM plays a pivotal role in shaping the culture, ethos and daily life of the House, fostering a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating environment where pupils aged 13–18 can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Starting in September 2026.

As HM, You Will
- Lead a team of pastoral staff including a Deputy HM and Assistant HM.
- Champion pupil wellbeing, safeguarding and personal development.
- Be the primary point of contact for parents and guardians.
- Oversee the smooth running of the House, including routines, discipline and co-curricular engagement.
- Encourage full participation in weekend activities and College life.
Teaching Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be employed primarily as a teacher, with the subject to be agreed.
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across a range of age groups.
- Use innovative pedagogical strategies and digital tools to inspire independent, imaginative, and critical thinking.
- Foster inclusive relationships and create safe, stimulating learning environments.
- Support pupils’ academic progress through effective assessment and feedback.
Life at a Boarding School
