Overview
We are seeking a new colleague to join our History team to share a passion for History across our two rapidly improving secondary schools: Notre Dame Plymouth (11-18) and St. Boniface’s Catholic College (11-16). The History team teaches across both schools, building a culture of high expectations in which all students are inspired and supported to excel. About the role
1.0 FTE, Temporary Maternity Cover until August 2026. The post is to support the History curriculum across both single-sex schools with a mixed sixth form based at Notre Dame. You will contribute to a culture of teaching excellence, creativity, collaboration, and the holistic formation of our students in line with our Catholic ethos.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging History lessons across Year 7–13 as appropriate to role and school needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to planning, assess and monitor student progress.
- Contribute to the development of a culture of high expectations and student achievement.
- Support the personal formation of students in line with school values.
