About the role
We want to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner to teach vocational Health and Social Care within the Healthcare Sciences Pathway.
The Healthcare Sciences Pathway is outstanding, always putting the needs of students first and motivating them to work to the best of their ability to achieve the highest outcomes possible. The staff in the team are specialists in their subject areas and they work exceptionally well together to support the students, and each other.

We are seeking only the best candidates who want to support the distinctive ethos of Monoux Sixth Form College. For this role you will need excellent subject knowledge and be committed to placing the student at the centre of your practice, coupled with the determination and energy to bring about continuous improvement.
We are looking for applicants with a passion for teaching, who enjoy building positive relationships with young people to help them achieve and plan for their future. The successful candidate will have an appropriate teaching qualification and be qualified to degree level. We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers from Sixth Form Colleges, Schools and FE Colleges.
Responsibilities
- Teach vocational Health and Social Care within the Healthcare Sciences Pathway.
- Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and student progression planning.
- Maintain a positive learning environment with effective behaviour management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student wellbeing, attainment, and progression.
Qualifications & Skills
- Appropriate teaching qualification.
- Degree-level qualification.
- Passion for teaching and ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Experience or familiarity with Sixth Form Colleges, Schools, or FE Colleges is welcomed; ECTs are encouraged to apply.
