This is a hugely rewarding role, offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in education while becoming fully immersed in the dynamic life of our exciting and forward-thinking school. Based in our Pre-Prep school, the successful candidate will support teaching staff across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
Responsibilities will include:
- Working with pupils both one-to-one and in small groups
- Assisting with general classroom activities
- Supporting the School Office and various Heads of Department as needed
- Contributing to our wraparound care provision before and after school
The successful candidate will help create a fun, hands-on, and imaginative learning environment in our Pre-Prep, bringing energy, creativity, and a genuine enthusiasm to every interaction with the children in their care.
This role is based at Hampton Pre-Prep School, part of the Hampton School Trust, which also includes Hampton School. Hampton Pre-Prep & Prep School offers an excellent working environment with high standards and expectations. Staff are committed, collaborative, and go the extra mile to help every child reach their full potential. There is a strong sense of camaraderie and a warm, welcoming atmosphere among the team.
The role is part-time, fixed term position for 35 hours a week (plus 1 hour unpaid break per day) Monday - Friday, term time only. Please note the unpaid hour will usually be taken in 2-3 shorter slots per day. The exact working pattern will be discussed in detail with the successful candidates.
The salary will be approximately £19,100 per annum (£25,869 Full time equivalent) for the duration of the contract and will be paid over 11 months from September 2025 to July 2026. You will be paid in equal monthly payments, in arrears. Payment will be made on the 25th of the month into a bank, building society or other account of your choice.
