Overview

The school is looking to appoint a part-time teacher of English and Reasoning to Years 5 and 6. The role is for 10 hours teaching per week, split across Monday to Friday mornings. For a candidate with a strong interest in coaching team sports, there is the potential to extend the hours by contributing to the school’s games programme. The English department benefits from strong leadership and management and is able to demonstrate an outstanding contribution to the lives of young people at Aldro through the value-added it provides to its pupils. The successful candidate will report to the Head of English, who is also the school’s Director of Teaching and Learning. The school and department also benefit from the support of a highly professional and integrated Learning Support Department.
