Overview

Christ the King Sixth Forms is a family of three highly successful Catholic sixth forms located in south east London and Kent. Recently rated Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted. CTK offers exceptional, expert teaching in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, each CTK sixth form creates an environment where high achievement is promoted and attained.

We wish to appoint a Sixth Forms Counsellor to provide a professional and confidential service to students across all three CTK Sixth Forms, ensuring that students receive the support and help they need when facing individual difficulties including emotional and mental health concerns.

Applicants should hold a recognised post-graduate qualification in counselling / psychotherapy at degree level or a minimum requirement at Diploma level. Applicants should be accredited (or working towards accreditation), registered or a member of a professional body, for example BACP/UKCP or an equivalent.

This is a part-time, part-year post to be worked over 1 day (4.5 hours per week for 40 days per year). It is a fixed-term contract until 31st August 2026.
