Terumo BCT Ltd is located in Larne and manufactures a range of sterile fluids for human and veterinary use. Due to ongoing expansion, a vacancy currently exists for the following role at our Millbrook, Larne plant: IT Student Desktop Support (Ref No: 25/33) Duties will include: Troubleshooting hardware and software issues diagnosing problems with computers, printers, and mobile devices. Installing and configuring systems setting up operating systems, applications, and network tools. Providing technical support assisting users via phone, email, or in person with IT-related queries. Understanding cybersecurity basics recognizing threats like phishing and knowing how to protect systems. Managing networks basic knowledge of LAN/WAN setups, IP addressing, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. Documenting support tasks keeping records of issues, solutions, and system changes. Learning and adapting staying updated with new technologies and continuously improving technical skills. Project implementation Working under the guidance or Senior IT professionals to complete IT project tasks to a high standard. Applicants must: Have a competent working knowledge of the Windows Operating System with a familiarity with some or all of the following technologies: Windows 7, 8.1; Microsoft Office; Browsers; Local Account Management; Scripting; Installs and removals; Registry; Command Line; and System Management Tools.
