Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with departments to ensure activities meet EH&S standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing EH&S management systems, policies, procedures, and training.
- Lead internal audits and coordinate actions to maintain compliance.
- Provide technical advice and coaching to colleagues on EH&S matters.
- Support risk assessments, accident investigations, and emergency preparedness.
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes and industry best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an EH&S advisory or compliance role, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- NEBOSH General Certificate and/or TechIOSH membership (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of EH&S legislation and standards, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Experience with PUWER, DSEAR, COSHH, and PPC regulations.
- Skilled in developing and delivering EH&S training and audits.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage across all levels of the business.
- IT literate with proficiency in MS Office.
Desirable
- First Aid certification.
- Experience with permit‑to‑work systems and LOTO procedures.
