People Development Advisor
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced People Development Advisor to join our People Team. This role is instrumental in designing, delivering, and embedding impactful training and development programmes that drive continuous performance improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and embed training and development programmes.
- Plan, manage, and support key learning and development projects on the PD Annual Calendar.
- Provide soft skills and non-technical BAU training to all associates.
- Design and deliver training curriculum for Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers aligned with the Leadership Academy and Leader’s Toolkit.
- Develop and deliver Train the Trainer programmes for SMEs/technical trainers.
- Facilitate team building exercises and workshops.
- Ensure succession planning tools are understood and vital skills gaps are identified.
- Maintain accurate training records within MasterControl/LMS.
- Support early careers programmes in collaboration with the People team.
- Coordinate cultural behavioural programmes (e.g., TBS, Growth Mindset, Values, NHP).
- Act as a functional coach for associates and leaders as part of PDR actions.
- Participate in global projects where appropriate.
- Ensure audit readiness of facility, processes, and documentation.
- Promote EH&S compliance and performance awareness.
Qualifications
- Degree level education or equivalent, plus CIPD or equivalent training qualification.
- Proven success in a learning and development environment.
- Experience in designing, delivering, and facilitating learning solutions.
- Ability to source effective external training solutions.
- Knowledge of training/learning solutions including digital platforms (eLMS).
- Understanding of training needs analysis and evaluation methodologies.
- Experience with continuous improvement and OPEX tools/methodologies.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
