Terumo Aortic currently recruiting for a Microbiology Technician. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to provide essential support to our Quality Control (QC) department, primarily focused on microbiology. This role offers the chance to work in a high-quality, regulated environment within the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Sterility control
- Water bioburden and endotoxin testing
- Product bioburden and endotoxin testing
- Testing of raw materials
- EM of cleanrooms
- Preparation of media
- Receipt of goods in
- Routine laboratory tasks
- Equipment verification
- Perform any validation work
- Raise QCO/ECO/CRB Changes
- Report writing
- Perform Microbiology awareness sessions
- Management review data preparation
- Any other duties as described by the Quality Shift Lead
What We\’re Looking For
- Relevant science degree or equivalent experience in a regulated industry
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word for Windows
- Attention to detail required
- Clean room experience would be advantageous
