We are looking for a detail‑focused and proactive Incoming Quality Control Technician to join our Quality team. In this role, you will ensure that all incoming raw materials, returned products, and relevant documentation meet our defined quality standards. You will play a key part in maintaining product integrity, audit readiness, and supporting our wider Quality Management System (QMS). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous quality control experience who enjoys hands‑on inspection work, problem‑solving, and maintaining high standards across all quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Inspection & Testing: Inspect and test incoming raw materials, in‑process items, and finished products in line with approved procedures. Verify that all product returns meet defined quality requirements and determine appropriate disposition. Inspect product labelling for compliance with specifications.
- Documentation & Specifications: Issue new raw material specifications as required. Maintain and review existing raw material specifications. Ensure all quality records are completed accurately and in accordance with the QMS.
- Quality & Compliance: Work within company policies, procedures, and QMS requirements at all times. Maintain audit readiness, ensuring the facility, processes, and documentation are always compliant. Promptly highlight any issues affecting quality to the Supervisor.
- Health, Safety & Environment: Take responsibility for your own health and safety and consider the safety of others impacted by your work. Work collaboratively to identify and raise Environmental Health & Safety concerns.
- Additional Duties: Support the training of personnel as required. Undertake any other duties specified by the Incoming Quality Control Team Leader. Proactively seek guidance when in doubt to ensure accuracy and compliance.
