Terumo Aortic exciting opportunity for an Equipment Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, calibrations, and associated tasks on production equipment and supporting services. You will play a key role in driving engineering improvements to enhance yield and equipment reliability. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of equipment performance metrics and KPIs, helping to optimize operational efficiency across the facility.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Carry out routine checks and maintenance on process and test equipment
- Carry out repairs and modifications to process and test equipment
- Manufacture and assemble new equipment to meet required specifications and comply with H&S standards
- Carry out installation of new equipment
- Contribute to the design and development of new equipment. Perform equipment calibrations and preventative & reactive maintenance
- Support equipment and process validations in collaboration with manufacturing engineering team
- Develop and maintain KPIs and improve equipment performance, MTTR and MTBF
- Maintain equipment asset information, spares requirements and asset replacement strategy
- Adhoc duties as and when required
The successful candidate will possess;
- Minimum Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Electrical/Electronic experience within a multi-disciplined environment
- Experienced with a regulated manufacturing environment
- Specific training in relevant HASAWN Technology areas would be beneficial
