The successful candidate will be required to provide pro-active support for customer shipments required on a daily basis and prioritise based on feedback from the Customer Care team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure finished goods products are processed on a daily basis and maintained
- Processing of all customer shipments on a daily basis
- Preparation of shipping documents and invoices
- Conduct regular cycle counts driven via company MRP system and ensure that results are reported to relevant parties (finance; customer services; planning)
- Ensure compliance with Aviation Security regulations for export control
- Contribute to lean initiatives in the dispatch area that form part of the continuous improvement agenda for Dispatch
- Ad hoc project work as required
- Ensure best practice Health & Safety are observed and applied at all times
Skills And Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Customer Services, Logistics / Finished Goods environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Computer literate in MS Office products
- Knowledge of export documentation, procedure and current legislation
- Team player
