TPA Recruit is supporting an established international manufacturer of passenger information systems in the appointment of a German-Speaking Technical Engineer. This UK-based role will provide technical support to the company’s German subsidiary, customers and integration partners. It combines customer-facing technical support, hardware and software troubleshooting, system integration, project delivery, installation, training and regular travel to Germany.
The successful German-Speaking Technical Engineer will work closely with technical, sales, development and production teams in the UK and Germany. You will manage several projects at once, resolve technical issues, support vehicle-based systems and help customers implement reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line technical support in fluent German and English by telephone, email and onsite visits.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking and system integration issues affecting passenger information equipment.
- Support projects from initial consultation and protocol definition through hardware selection, software implementation, vehicle integration.
