SMT Operator We have an excellent opportunity for a Surface Mount Operator. Your role will be to place Surface Mount components using specific machinery at our clients busy East Sussex site. To assemble product within the required quality standard and output levels, whilst working in a team or independently towards a collective company goal. Your Responsibilities Component recognition Code recognition Component Identification – Parts/ packages i.e. Tape & Reels, sticks/tubes, waffle trays and loose component Pulling/picking kits Understanding of documentation ESD awareness Label content awareness- on reels/sticks/trays Understand use of IFS system Understand use of Documentation Use of Computer system – Tiny Term Component recognition – Coding – polarity/orientation Component Identification – Parts/ package Tape & Reels, sticks/tubes, waffle trays and loose component Barcode printing/scanning Moisture Humidity cabinets Basic feeder loading tape & reel Understanding of Reflow process Set -up of profiles Joint evaluation awareness Complete Test Board Level 1 Placement accuracy Skills and Experience Numeric, basic computer skills Eye for Detail Work with accuracy & speed Good Organizational skills Flexible attitude Self – Motivated Team Player & ability to work on own Good decision maker Able to use own initiative Shifts can be ealry or late: Monday – Friday Early 6am 2pm 10% shift allowance Or 2pm until 10pm 15% shift allowance Must have the right to work in the UK JBRP1_UKTJ
