Assembly Technician - Full Training given Location: Pulborough You'll be responsible for assembling electro mechanical products through encapsulation processes. Main Objective
- Responsible for the assembly of electro mechanical products including the encapsulation process.
- Carry out all aspects of mechanical assembly work as part of the Encapsulation process including pouring, sealing, priming and conformal coating of assemblies.
- Carrying out routine checks, maintenance and cleaning of encapsulation machines, compressor, vacuum pump, maintenance and filter change of spray booth equipment all in accordance with procedures.
- Planning, progressing and co-ordinating workload in accordance with production schedule and other internal customers, such as repair and design departments.
- Raising production paperwork including non-compliance/rework records and stores requisitions in accordance with company processes.
- Ensuring all quality procedures for build and workmanship standards and ESD requirements are implemented.
- Maintaining and improving housekeeping and cleanliness of work area.
- Working on own initiative reading BOM’s and drawings etc.
- Engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s Quality ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental Management system requirements and the Health and Safety Management System.
