We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our high-tech manufacturing team working in a cleanroom environment. The Mechanical Assembly Technician will play a vital role in the assembly of UHV manipulation and sample handling sub-assemblies, ensuring high standards of quality and performance. This is a hands-on role suited to a detail-oriented professional with experience in mechanical and electrical assembly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble complex mechanical and electrical components to specification, ensuring precision and quality.
  • Carry out specialist UHV-compatible wiring and electrical testing to support cleanroom standards.
  • Maintain UHV clean processes for all vacuum components and sub-assemblies.
  • Support the transition from prototype to production, including writing and updating manufacturing documents.

Skills & Experience:
