Location: Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey Put Products to the Test We’re looking for a Test Operator to join our engineering and manufacturing team, helping ensure electro-mechanical products perform exactly as they should.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll set up test equipment, carry out functional and performance testing, troubleshoot issues and accurately record results.
If you’re technically minded, methodical and enjoy getting to the bottom of problems, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing Carry out functional, environmental and performance testing on electro-mechanical assemblies and systems.
Set up and operate equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and mechanical fixtures .
Interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics and test procedures.
Inspect finished products and identify faults, defects or performance issues.
Troubleshoot test failures and support corrective actions.
Accurately record test results, anomalies and corrective actions.
Support engineering teams with prototype testing and product validation .
Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure reliable and accurate results.
