We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a high-performing engineering and manufacturing team. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting product excellence through robust root cause analysis and corrective action. As a Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in customer approvals, audits, and product release certifications while driving continuous improvement in line with aerospace and defence regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and validate First Article Reports (FARs) for customers and suppliers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve product quality issues through effective corrective actions.
  • Monitor and escalate internal quality concerns, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Host customer and third-party audits, and carry out internal audits as required.
  • Ensure product release certification in line with EASA, FAR, and related standards.
  • Support quality metrics implementation and deputise for the Quality Manager when required.
