An established engineering manufacturer is seeking a Quality Manager to take full ownership of Quality compliance while contributing at a strategic level as part of the Senior Management Team.
This is a broad, hands-on leadership role with real authority. You will own the Quality Management System end-to-end, lead audits, manage compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the business.
The Quality Manager will manage test engineering resources, act as the senior quality interface with customers and suppliers, and provide clear, data-led reporting into the Managing Director and SMT.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, audits, PPAPs, calibration and NCR/G8D processes
- Leadership of finished product inspection and testing to customer and regulatory standards
- Senior representation during customer, supplier and certification audits
- Development of quality improvement projects driven by customer feedback and KPI analysis
