We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to support the design, development, and commissioning of control systems for low-volume, high-value capital equipment. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and production teams, as well as hands-on work at customer sites worldwide.

  • Develop, program, and test PLC control systems for bespoke capital equipment
  • Support electrical and controls design, including I/O mapping and documentation
  • Commission systems in-house and at customer sites, including overseas installations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during build, test, and field operation
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to deliver integrated solutions
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation (functional specifications, test procedures, user manuals)
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams

Proven experience programming PLCs with a strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and electrical schematics. Familiarity with fieldbus networks and a willingness and ability to travel internationally. Knowledge of safety PLCs and functional safety standards. Experience with commissioning complex capital equipment. Self-motivated and adaptable in a project-driven environment.
