Manufacturing Engineer – Fans
Location: Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment.
Working across operations, supply chain and design engineering , you will provide manufacturing engineering expertise across both existing and new products. You will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, supporting new product introduction and driving Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on engineering role offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing efficiency, quality, cost and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with manufacturing cell leaders, Lean teams and design engineering to improve process efficiency.
- Develop, implement and maintain Standard Work and manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, routings and visual factory standards.
- Create and maintain manufacturing routings within an MRP/ERP system .
- Implement Lean manufacturing techniques such as one-piece flow, visual management and balanced assembly lines .
