Test Engineer Location: Lewes Salary: £40k Shift : Mon – Fri 8 – 4 Main Purpose of Job To ensure that we maintain our position as the leading provider of Cryo-SEM preparation chambers and Electron Microscopy (EM) coaters by delivering quality products, in both Bench-top coaters and Cryo-EM. The purpose of this role is to meet increased testing demand due to new product development (NPD). Role and Responsibilities The Test Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and demonstrating the quality of our products offerings both new and existing. Working as part of NPD teams to design and develop product solutions and meeting project timescales. Liaising with project teams, during pre-design phases, to define product testing needs and documenting them in test plans. Technical document writing and presenting of test plans and reports. Testing of new products as defined by project needs. Periodic lifecycle testing of existing products as required and documenting of findings. Assist business functions such as service department in testing fault reports from customer sites. Achieve a high level of product knowledge, including our and competitor products as appropriate.
