Are you an experienced Assembly Fitter looking for a hands-on role in a growing manufacturing environment? We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team and play a vital role in building high-quality kits and sweepers for a diverse customer base.
As an Assembly Fitter, you'll be responsible for assembling mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components to precise standards, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality. You'll work closely with the Assembly Manager and a dedicated team of engineers in a dynamic workshop setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fit and assemble fabricated parts or subassemblies.
- Install and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Lay, connect, and secure wiring looms and hoses neatly and safely.
- Fault diagnose and repair or replace defective assemblies.
- Use air tools, socket sets, and lifting equipment to handle large and awkward components.
- Read engineering drawings, apply BOM variances, and assist with development changes.
- Support and mentor peers.
